Behind the scenes of this magnificent tapestry stands Carol Lawrence, the owner and visionary of Angels Sewing and Quilting. From the moment she fell head over heels for sewing in 2014, her passion has been unwavering. Guided by the extraordinary Doris, Carol stitched her way through countless pillowcases, puzzled by the notion of owning multiple sewing machines. Little did she know that a journey of enchantment awaited her!
Carol’s tale unfolds with a beloved Baby Lock Sofia 2, a machine she vowed to never relinquish. But when a Kimberbell mug rug class sparked her imagination, she realized she needed a larger machine to bring her visions to life. And so, her quest for the perfect machine began, resulting in four exquisite upgrades. Today, she proudly possesses the majestic Baby Lock Solaris, a remarkable Juki, and a mystical multi-needle wonder. Her true passion lies in fashioning marvelous handbags, which have filled bin after bin with her delightful creations. The allure of diverse fabrics, including the captivating waxed canvas, captures her imagination. And the day she met her idol, the legendary Tula Pink, was a dream woven into reality.
